Val di Funes
The Val di Funes ski season usually starts on November 20th already! This valleys allows you not just to ski, but also to experiment winter hiking trips in the Puez- Odle natural park (Italian: Parco Naturale Puez-Odle, German: Naturpark Puez- Geisler), to sledge, to explore mountain refuges…in winter as well! Val di Funes (German: Villnösstal) also offers a small and very well organized ski zone, which is part of the bigger Val d’Isarco (German: Eisacktal, Ladin Val dl Isarch) ski pole. This ski zone is called “Filler” and it offers the following elements: skilifts, artificial snowing equipment, ski school, ski deposit, sport shop, ski maintenance service, many mountain refuges. Children can’t count just on a ski kindergarten, but on two of them, offering the following elements: baby-sitting service, sledge and bob tracks, ski equipment hiring points, a playground on the snow, an obstacles track.
